Minimess® Sensors

Hydrotechnik HySense® QM 100

When designing the Hydrotechnik HySense® QM 100 flow sensors, engineering considerations prioritized ensuring efficient operation and reliability. Focusing on achieving low differential pressure, the sensors aimed to provide maximum energy efficiency. Additionally, fully integrated electronics were employed to adapt excellently to high-load environments, thus ensuring reliable operation in any situation.

The excellent performance of the sensors is supported by strong alloys such as robust aluminum alloys and stainless steels, which resist various environmental effects. Their compact design allows easy integration into various systems, while their reinforced construction, such as the Quadruple safety feature, ensures longer runtime and lifespan, making them an ideal choice for continuous use.

The simple connection of the sensors provides additional advantages as they do not require complex connectors. Their status indicators enable real-time monitoring, aiding optimal control. Furthermore, they are customizable, adapting to unique systems and requirements, thus providing flexibility and efficiency across all application areas.

Pressure Sensors

Pressure is a central factor in fluid technology. By measuring the pressure, basic settings in systems and installations can be made;  it is also very important for diagnosis of the complete system.

Hydrotechnik offers a broad range of piezoresistive sensors.

Volume Flow Sensors

When diagnosing and condition monitoring of systems the measurement of volume flow is very important.

To measure the volume flow, Hydrotechnik offers 4 product families to have for every application the right sensor:

  1. HySense® QT (Turbine), HySense® QT 218

  2. HySense® QG (Gearwheel)

  3. HySense® QO (Oval wheel)

  4. HySense® QL (Load valve)

Temperature Sensors

Hydrotechnik offers several models for the fast and reliable capture of the medium temperature.

The temperature sensor HySense® TE 110 is a screw-in sensor which achieves highly accurate values by measuring in the medium directly. It can be installed in any orientation. It can be mounted and dismantled easily by screwing it into a 1620 series p/T-test point. It has a protection type of IP 67. The measurement range lies between -58 und +392°F.

The temperature sensor HySense® TE 118 is a screw-in sensor which achieves highly accurate values by measuring in the medium directly. It can be installed in any orientation. It can be mounted and dismantled easily by screwing it into a 1620 series p/T-test point. It has a protection type of IP 69. The measurement range lies between -58 und +392°F.

The sensor HySense® TP 180 is a dual-sensor for measuring pressure and temperature simultaneously at a single test point. It measures directly within the medium which results in achieving highly accurate values. It can be installed in any orientation and. It can be mounted and dismantled easily by screwing it into a 1620 series p/T-test point. The measurement range for temperature lies between -58 and +392°F, the range for pressure from 0 to 8702 psi.

The temperature sensor HySense® TE 200 is a hand sensor for mobile temperature measurement.

Other sensors

Rotating torque sensor HySense® TQ 110

The HySense® TQ 110 is a highly accurate torque sensor, equipped with a with friction ring. It has a cylindric shaft with feather keys on both ends. It is available for several measurement ranges and is designed for continuous rotational speed of 1,500 to 2,000 rpm.

Rotational speed sensor HySense® RS 110

The rotational speed sensor HySense® RS 110 uses pulsating red light (LED) reflected by a special tag at the rotating target. By using a polarisation filter, only the reflected light impulses are evaluated. Disturbing reflections (e.g. unevenness of the surface, bright metal parts, keyways or high-contrast areas) are not detected. This achieves a reliable rotational speed measurement from distances between 0 and 500 mm. 25 reflection tags are included. It is available for the measurement range 4-20 mA.

Inductive rotational speed sensor HySense® RS 210

The rotational speed sensor HySense® RS 210 works inductively and is able to detect the cogs of a cogwheel. After entering the number of cogs into the measuring instrument, a reliable rotational speed detection is assured. The sensor head must be mounted between 1.5 and 2 mm away from the cog wheel.

Force sensor HySense® FO 110

The force sensor HySense® FO 110 is a shear force sensor according the deflecting beam principle. Since a force and the deflection of a beam is proportional, this sensor is able to determine a force by measuring its elongation or change in length. Due to its compact design, these traction-pressure force sensors can be used in the laboratory, as well as in industrial environments. Made with corrosion-proof steel, HySense® FO 110 have a standardized nominal characteristic value. They can be mounted easily allowing simple integration into existing structures. It is available for several measurement ranges from 0-20 kN.

Force sensor HySense® FO 210

The force sensor HySense® FO 210 is a traction force sensor. It works to the principle of centerline force measurement. It is available for several measurement ranges from 0-250 kN.

Position sensor HySense® PO 180

The position sensor HySense® PO 180 works on the measuring wire principle. It can be easily mounted and does not need linear guiding. All mechanical and electronic components are protected by a solid casing. It is available for several measurement ranges from 0-3000 mm.
